And will you look at that... Ena.LISTEN I needed a filler gifset to make this post pretty ok ignore that
(AU in which Astral World inhabitants get the chance to be present at the duel against Don Thousand and in which he and Ena get to meet each other. Too bad he hates everyone already)
And now, please allow me to explain. (?)
читать дальшеHere’s the proof I’m going mad. I spent my 2 train trips and my two-hours lunch break writing this “what if” past life or what the hell I don’t even know anymore guys. (Sometimes I love crackships, because crack ends only when canon starts, and you can imagine lots of things.)
I basically took Ruptureshipping and used it to get an explanation for Don’s actions. Of course I took a lot of liberties and this is nothing more than a product of my imagination, and I did indeed add lots of shippy headcanons and bad english along the way.
(And while writing this I actually reminded myself what Don Thousand did and now I’m angry again, urgh.)
Ok so, here’s what came out my mind.
Let’s consider my “Don held chaos because of Ena” headcanon and fix it a little.
This is all based on my convinction that Astral Beings cannot fully comprehend love. Maybe they forgot or have a different idea of it, and that’s why they banished those who had chaos inside by thinking they didn’t need that anyway.
Let’s say only those who had chaos could understand. Maybe not everyone could understand everything, but they could do that better than the others, and they could also help others do so by well, loving them, thus “contaminating” them.
Let’s now pick a “pure” Astral Being (Ena), and then an “Impure” one (Donkey) who happens to “fancy” the said pure being. I’m using “these” a lot. “Sorry”.
He acted let say oddly around her, and that confused and almost scared her for a while. Not wanting to hurt her in anyway, he abruptly stopped being always around her once he realized she was uncomfortable (wow, he used to be a really nice guy in my head. Too bad he’s an asshole in canon, huh).
Ena, though, noticed she was interested about his strange attitude and got more and more curious. First he constantly tried to talk to her but then he barely greeted her when they occasionally met. What the heckies, man.
Everyone just told her to leave him be, but at this point she just wanted to know, and she started basically chasing him around to ask him clarifications. This caused them to grow closer and closer, and oh how awkward did things get when he tried to explain his feelings towards her.
Ena was happy. She couldn’t quite figure it all out yet, but she was happy and she -knew- that that was how she was supposed to feel, and Don knew how she felt.
This happened all over the Astral World, and people started to get contaminated. Some fully (and got banished), some barely (and this allowed them to fall ill slower than others in the distant future). The convinction that the Astral World could achieve a Rank Up without them was alredy pretty strong, and it was ultimately decided that exiling chaos was the best thing to do. Thus, Ena and Don Thousand got separated.
Where are you going?! I’m not done yet.
Now, believing firmly in Ena’s feelings, a part of Don K hoped that she would be banished, too, but that didn’t happened. After sometime he convinced himself that she actually never understood, and was just curious about his odd behavior. He felt betrayed by the person who was so precious to him.
There were no bonds with the Astral World left, only hate and blind frigging rage.
This whole mess started when I thought “what if his whole agenda is nothing but a huge freudian slip?” (turning four of the seven emperors into Barians by giving them fake betrayal memories)
Poor Ena truly cared about him, but needed more time to be fully contaminated by him. It was too late to save her beloved, but with time she came to understand the power of chaos – and the reason behind her people’s suffering.
And now I made myself sad.Люди, какие вы накркоманы. о_О Но идея интересная.
