Why I Love Tron (more like characterization, but whatever)
Because his face….
Alright, I’m gonna take this seriously now….Just a sec, gotta laugh at myself for saying that….

Okay, now down to business. Tron’s a really interesting character. Interesting backstory, interesting personality, and interesting role.
Now, about his backstory. What I like most about it is that, it’s tragic. He has a sad story where he was betrayed by someone he thought was his friend. He was nearly killed and transported into another world (Barian World) and endured a ton of suffering. He had thought of suicide countless times, but it was Kazuma’s spirit that kept him going. He obviously didn’t believe in friendship after that little incident, but Kazuma’s spirit was what kept him going, so I would guess he values what he had with Kazuma, even if he didn’t believe in friendship.
He started off as a kind and gentle person, but it was that betrayal on Dr. Faker’s behalf that caused him to be who he is now. Now, he said that he has no true emotions, but I doubt that’s true. His backstory was too harsh on him, so I would guess that he feels….I don’t know, I guess, betrayed, hurt, confused, something along those lines. And all those feelings of betrayal and lust for revenge clouded his mind. He had nothing to do but mull over the incident when he was in the Barian World, so he would obviously come back revenge-obsessed.
But then, we saw in episode 66, when Yuma was having a heartfelt speech about something that I couldn’t understand, we see that Tron had that flashback, something that reminded him of happier times, something that brought back Byron, even if it was just for a second.
Another thing that caught my eye in that, was the fact that it was Yuma who got through to Tron. Yuma….the son of the man that kept Tron going in the Barian World. To me, that’s another hint that Tron valued Kazuma as a true friend. Someone who doesn’t have emotions, like what Tron said he is, is not a human, but Tron….nah, he’s far from having no emotions. He’s still human, but all he’s been through has caused him to become bitter.
Alright, this part will be about his face, but I promise I won’t be talking about how sexy it is. His face has that weird galaxy thing, right? Well, I think that it’s a galaxy for a reason other than “ZEXAL has alotta space stuff.” That galaxy only covers half of his face, instead of his whole face. I think it means that Tron’s true self is not completely gone. I think the void in his face represents the revenge that’s slowly consuming his soul. But since it only covers half of his face, who knows? Maybe his soul is fighting back. Against the revenge that keeps trying to take over him.
Now onto Tron’s role in the show. Tron’s role is pretty interesting too, since this is the first time there are two antagonists that are active at the same time and against each other also. In this case, Tron and Dr. Faker. I frequently get confused on who’s the main antagonist because while Dr. Faker is the main antagonist, Tron has a more active role.
Well, I think that’s enough for why I love Tron, which turned into more of my own personal characterization for him. Well….if there are any future Tron RPers, you can use this to help your characterization of him.
